How much does the sand cost per tonne?
From PLN 27 per tonne net, loaded onto your truck at the pit (ex works). Large volumes and annual contracts are priced individually. We quote in EUR and with delivery on request.
What is the minimum order?
Agreed individually. We serve buyers from a single truck to contracts of hundreds of thousands of tonnes.
Where is the pit?
Bystrze-Konczewice sand pit, Miloradz municipality, Malbork county, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland. It sits by the national road DK22 bridge between Malbork and Tczew, 55 km from the Port of Gdansk.
Do you export?
Yes. Sea shipments to Scandinavia and the Baltic states go through the Port of Gdansk, 55 km away. Barge loading on the Vistula is possible, subject to water levels.
What documents do you provide?
The Declaration of Performance in English and Polish with CE marking to EN 12620, the initial type testing report and the water permit from Polish Waters. The test report and permit are in Polish.
What are the key properties?
Aggregate size 0/4 mm, grading category GF85, fines 0.4 % (f3), sand equivalent SE4 90, water-soluble chloride < 0.01 %, humus below limit value, alkali-silica reactivity grade 0. Source: initial type testing to EN 12620, AG-CEL Laboratory, report 20200916/582/19/01.
How much does one cubic metre weigh?
Loose bulk density is 1.59 t/m³ and compacted bulk density 1.80 t/m³. Moist sand from the stockpile weighs more. We sell by the tonne, weighed on site.
Is the sand CE marked?
Yes, to EN 12620 (aggregates for concrete), under AVCP System 4.
Is it quartz or silica sand?
We do not claim that. There is no chemical analysis of SiO2 yet. It is a natural river sand from the Vistula, washed during extraction.
How much can you supply?
We currently extract about 1,000 tonnes every 3 hours. Production capacity is about 2 million tonnes a year.
Is the sand available all year?
Dredging runs from April to October under our water permit. Outside the season, supply depends on stock on the yard, so winter offtake should be planned ahead.
Which delivery terms do you offer?
Delivery terms, freight and port handling are agreed individually for each contract. Tell us your destination and preferred terms.
What are the payment terms?
Agreed individually, depending on volume and the type of contract.
Do you issue VAT invoices?
Yes, every sale is invoiced.
Are trucks weighed?
Yes. The wheel loader has an on-board scale and every truck is weighed at loading. Loading is included in the price.

A site visit or material for your own testing can be arranged individually. Tell us what you need the sand for.
