Why buy sand from Poland
Natural sand is getting harder to permit in parts of Scandinavia, and many producers switch to crushed sand. A natural river sand with low fines is still valued in concrete and mortar.
Our pit sits 55 km by road from the Port of Gdansk, on the southern Baltic coast. Short-sea shipping links Gdansk with Swedish, Danish and Norwegian ports.

Who we supply
Ready-mix and precast producers, dry mortar plants, importers and traders of aggregates, and contractors on large projects. We supply in bulk only, no bags.
Volumes and season
We currently extract about 1,000 tonnes every 3 hours, with a production capacity of about 2 million tonnes a year. Dredging runs from April to October under our water permit. Shipments outside the season depend on stock, so annual contracts are planned ahead.

Questions and answers
Is the CE marking valid in Norway?
Norway applies the EU Construction Products Regulation through the EEA Agreement, so CE marking to EN 12620 is recognised. Check any national requirements for your specific use with your client or authority.
Is it quartz sand?
We do not claim that. There is no chemical analysis of SiO2 yet. It is a natural river sand from the Vistula, CE marked to EN 12620.
