Extraction
From the riverbed to the stockpile
- Dredger
A cutter suction dredger lifts sand from the bed of the Vistula and pumps it ashore through a floating pipeline.
- Dewatering
The slurry passes a dewatering screen, the water returns to the river and the sand stays clean and washed.
- Stockpiles
The sand drains on the storage yard. An excavator builds stockpiles ready for collection.
- Loading
A wheel loader with a scale loads trucks on site. Loading is included in the price.
